Thailand was amazing!
so i totally started writing this long detailed blog about my trip and then i had to restart firefox and it all got lost. so.. i just don’t know if i have it in me to do it all over again.
i’d like to say thanks to everyone who helped me make my dream come true. thailand was absolutely amazing. i really really loved it. the entire trip was one of the best things i’ve ever done and i will definitely be doing more trips like this in the future. and i hope to go back to thailand some day.
the thai people were great, especially the (70+) children (and 4 teachers) at the preschool i worked at. and the starfish staff were really wonderful and so helpful. i made some great friendships with some of the volunteers too, i hope to see them in the future as well.
i also visited cambodia, which was also pretty amazing. i’ve posted a lot of pics on my flickr sight (http://www.flickr.com/photos/mandawalker79/sets/72157616745713143/) i still have more to post, hopefully those will be up soon. please, if you have any questions about my trip, please ask me, i’d love to talk about it. i’m just finding myself totally swamped with school and work right now, that i knew if i put off this post any longer, it would never get done.
anyway, thanks again!!! and thailand is a great place, you should all go visit. we’ll see where my life takes me over the next few years, but i’m not ruling out adopting a thai child! :)
